Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Ehotraders (the "Company") and users of the mobile application CatchMsg (the "Service").

• Service: The application that alerts users when a keyword or sender they have configured appears in a messenger notification (a "catch"), and records and organizes those catches on-device.
• Catch: The act of detecting a keyword or sender in a messenger notification according to a user-defined rule and displaying an alert.
• Pro (Lifetime License): A bundle of premium features unlocked with a single one-time payment, valid permanently.

• Setting catch rules by keyword, sender, and room; receiving catch alerts
• Cooldown (flood control), custom alerts (sound, vibration, priority)
• Catch record storage and display
• Catch Report (per-room stats, full message preservation, search) — Pro feature

The Service operates on the basis of notifications from supported messengers including KakaoTalk, Line, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp.

Use of the Service requires the Android Notification Listener permission. Users may revoke this permission at any time; doing so will stop catch functionality immediately. The scope of information processed under this permission is governed by our Privacy Policy.

• Lifetime license: Pro is a permanent license provided for a single one-time payment of ₩6,000 (local pricing may apply). It is not a subscription and there is no auto-renewal.
• Free trial: A 3-day Pro trial is available after installation. The trial period can be extended through the friend referral (referral code) feature.
• Payment and refunds: In-app purchases and refunds are governed by the Google Play payment policy and applicable law.

• Users must use the Service only in connection with conversations and notifications they are themselves a party to.
• Users must not disclose, distribute, or disseminate caught messages from other parties to third parties beyond the scope of their own legitimate personal use.
• Users must not use the Service for unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe the rights of others.

• The catch feature relies on notifications delivered by the messenger. Catches may be missed if messenger notifications are turned off (not merely silenced) or if the operating system's battery-saving or memory management policies suppress notifications.
• The Company does not guarantee 100% catch of every message and, absent willful misconduct or gross negligence, is not liable for losses arising from missed catches.
• The Company's liability is limited for service disruptions caused by force majeure, including acts of nature and changes to or interruption of third-party services (messengers, the operating system, payment providers, etc.).

All intellectual property rights in the Service and its related software, design, and trademarks belong to the Company. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without the Company's prior consent.

The Company may amend these Terms within the limits permitted by applicable law. If changes are made, the Company will specify the effective date and reasons and provide notice via in-app notification or this page in advance.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service will be resolved in accordance with applicable law and prevailing practice.
